Thursday. Thursday is usually a busy morniug on the track, and this morning was no exception. Ie was rather foggy, however, and many of the gallops could not be seen at all. Work started about 4.15 a.m. Impulse raD a mile and a half at top accompanied by Lake Shell the last miie, both norses going well. Ringipuhi beat Pegasus about six lengths ac the finish of a mile and a quarter run in 2.18. War Dance put in good striding work. Au Revoir ran a mile and a half in 2.43, having Barmby with him over tne last six furlongs. Abel Tasman did half and three-quarter pace work. Juetlce did medium pacing. Vanilla and Molly Darling were set easy tasks. Balquither cantered. The Dancer strode along btrongly over six furlongs, and Goodwood and Bowshot under fair imposts ran six furlongs in 1.3). Kulnine aud Bacnardo ran a mile in 1.53, the last six furlongs in 1.22. Strath Braan cantered on the tan. New Headford was sent along at a good pac« for about a mile.
