Herald arri/ed on Saturday morning from the South and sailed early in the afternoon for Wellington and Greymouth. The s.s. Ohau arrived on Saturday afternoon from Westport, and is busy discharging her cargo of coal into hulks. The steamers Janet Nicoll and Rosamond arrived yesterday from Westport, each with a cargo of coal. The schooner Dunedin went out into the stream on Saturday afternoon, and sails for Greymouth with the first favourable breeze. The B.s. Omapere arrived yesterday from Dunedin via way ports. The s.s. Bruuner, Captain Todd, from Westport, was coming up the/ harbour when our despatch left port last night.
