The police say that there is no doubt the Anarchists intended to blow up the Stock Exchange. Mr Asquitb, Homo Secretary, has refused Auarchist groups the usual facilities for assembling in Hyde Park ou the oi ;asion of the May Day celebrations. Pauls, April 27. As the outcome of the arrest of Matha, the Anarchist, an official in the French War Office has been arrested on a charge of having explosives and incriminating documents in his possession. It haa been ascertained that Feulton, the Wasr Office official who has been placed under arrest, acted as international postman for the Anarchists, and distributed all their correspondence. April 28. i The trial of the Anarchist Henri, who threw a bomb in the Cafe Lazaire, has begun. So far the accused has displayed the utmost effrontery and evnicism, and boasts of his guilt. j "Evidence was adduced that prior to the Carmaux explosion Henri passed two cafes because they were not full enough of visitors. He insists that his desire was to kill a large number, not merely to wound people.

April 29. Henri has been sentenced to death. He laughed when the sentence was delivered, and on leaving the dock shouted—" Courage, comrades ', long live Anarchy 1"

Brussels, April 29. A further dynamite outrage is reported from Liege. A bomb was exploded in the church of St. Jacques, but fortunately without injuring any person. The building was damaged.
