WHY? BECAUSE they have the bent reputation and are moat in demand by the public, consequently, every dishonest trader tries to trade on their fame and renown. It is really wonderful that the Anstralian people are so slow to see the truth as regards the unscrupulous quacks and charlatan* who prey on the credulity of the Australian public. Scarcely a week ever passes but whit rhe press exposes the barefaced and shameful practice* of some of these harpies, jet, in face of all they seem to thrive, and the paper who bounds them down most thrives fittest on their advertisements and cracks champagne over each balance-sheet. Clements Tonic and Fletcher's PUN hare never yet stooped to deception and misrepresentation. They are scientific therapeutical agents, and evidence ac to tbeir value can be found in every district, and «uch being the cane it is unnecessary to further extol their virtues.
