THE ACCIDENT TO A HORSE.

Regarding the accident to the racehorse May King, ib appears that the insurance agent here did not telegraph to headquarters for instructions, bub the horse died last night, and the veterinary surgeon confirms hia previous belief that its back was broken. It was insured for £100. DUNEDIN, March 9. Re the Invercargill telegram concerning the accident to the horse May King, the Manager of the Insurance Company says that no telegram was received from the Invercargill agent, nor was one necessary, as" the lecal agents have full power to order the destruction of the animal.
