PIGS AND POULTRY SALES.

Messrs Wilson and Sons report a crowded market of pigs and sales as follows:—Heavy baconers 4d, light do 4£d, heavy porkers sd, light do s£d, stores 16s to 26s 6d, weaners 7s to 14s, breeding sows 52s to 655. Tone of market, very good; slight reduction in weaners. There was a large supply of poultry. Heavy roosters 3s, oa 3d to 3s 9d, light do 2s 6d to 3s, old bens Is 9d to 2s 3d, young hens 2s to 2s 9J, ducks 2s to 3s fid, geese 3s 6d to 4s fid, turkeys 20s to 225. Tone of market, not much demand. Mr H. B. Sorensen sold since last report 167 pigs. Light baconers 35s to 425, heavy porkers 29_6dto 325, light do 20s to 235, stores 13s 3d to 19s 3d, weaners 8s to 15s, breeding sows 30s to 55a. Tone of market, good ; in small pigs a little easier. Number of poultry sold, 713.
