A LARGE PURCHASE.
An Auckland telogram says that Sargood, Son and Ewen yesterday purchased t|w. stock-in-trade and goodwill of buiittew «.- Wm. McArthur and Co., In New jZealaßd. This is stated to be the largest cashporohaw of soft goods yet made in tbe colony, involving the purchase of a stock of worn £80,000 to £30,000.
