FOOTBALL CLUBS.
» The annual meeting of the North-Canter' bury Football Club was held at the Insti* tute, Rangiora, on Wednesday evening. Mr G. H. N. Helmore, President, occupied the chair. The Treasurer's statement showed receipts, £31 17s 2d ; expenditure, £27 2s 9d; liabilities against assets, £12 10s. The following officers were eleoted :— Patron,>Mr D. Buddo, M.H.R.; President, Mr. Helmore; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. Ralph, J. B. Wilson, A. S. Clarkson, A. Templer, J. Sansom, E. R. Good ; Captain, C. Dv Moulin j sub Captain, G. F. Barlow; Secretary, G. H. C. Hussey; Treasurer, A. C. Wilmot; Delegate, H. S. Styche ; second delegate to be elected by the General Com* mittee; Committee, A. Gray, E.-Miller, -- J. Duncan, J. Garty, E. R. Shorland, G. Jones, J. Anderson, and C. G. Reesj Selection Commitleo, C. Dv Moulin, J. Garty, A. Gray, E. Miller, and G. F. Barlow. In order to relieve the Club's funds it was agreed that t'ne teams pay drug fares, the First to pay for their ownrefreshi-onta. It was left to the Committee to Inetruco the delegates as to the Club's wishes in joining > the Rugby Union. It was decided to enter a team for the Junior Flaz, the Committee to consider the question of. entering a team . for Thursday matches. Two gentlemen were decided on to be recommended to the Union for election as referees. Mr WUmotpromised £2 2s towards the funds and Mr Sinclair 10*. Votes of thanks to the retiring officers and the President terminated the meeting. The annual meeting of the Lincoln' College Football Club was held on March 2nd, when the following officers were elected:—President, Professor Bayne; Vice-presidents. Messrs H. Overton, J. Macmillan, W. Boas F. de o. Malet, 0. Gray, P. Marshall, and O. E. Adams • Captain, H. M. Marshall j Vics-captain, O. JScottf Committee, O. Stewart and U. Bourne*, Hon. Beo., T.
