[By Telegraph.]

[FROM OUB SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] NEW PLYMOUTH, February 22. The weather opened fair for the second day's racing of the Tarauaki Jockey Club, but was very hazy as the day wore on owing to baaii fires raging. Both jockeys were reprimanded for using strong language after passing the post. ,An inquiry against Kildare for inconsistent ruuuing on the motion of the Stewards wan deemed necessary but on hearing Mr Williamson, the owner, the explanation was deemed satisfactory.
