Mtssns H. Matson and Co. report npon the bkin sales as follows—Our catalogue comprised 1350 akius, 30 hides, 37 packages fat, and we managed to make a satisfactory clearance, notwithstanding the fact that two oi tbe principal buyers absented themselves from the earlier part of our auction. We sold as follows—Best crossbred pelts lid up to ls 7d, inferior do 6d to lOd, best merino pelts 9d to Is 3d, inferior do 3d to 7u, best iau.bskins ls 3d tols 9d, inferior do 9d to Is 2<i, woolly merinos up to 4s, and diy skm« 4;fd per ib, bag wool up to 6d ; hides a... per usual rate ; fat at from |d, lid, lg-i, l|«i, 2d, 2{?\, 2£d.
Messrs and Sons sold at the following prices—Medium halfbred pelts 2s, medium longwool do Ls lid, medium merino do ls 4J. Jambs from Is 6d to 2s 4d, dry crossbreds o-Ui to 4£d per lb, dry merinos 3d to 03d lb, rough fat lj<i to 2Ad ib, hides and catt'skius as usual. Tone of market — Very satisfactory.
