New Auctioneer.-—Mr R. Curtis, who has been with Mr D. Thomas, of Ashbur'ton, for several years, made, his debut. as au auctioneer, at the Arcade, on Saturday. Mr Curtis briefly addressed hia audience and then proceeded to dispose ot a lot of miscellaneous goods for Mr Thomas. • Mr -Curtis will still remain associated with his old employer, and will fill the place of Mr D. Mafcson.
