The intense heat which has been experienced throughout the colony for some days past has been followed by very large grass and bush fires iv the interior. Tbe Byniga station, Narrandera district (about 350 milea S.W. from Sydney), has been swept by a bush fire and 90,000 acrea were devastated at the end of last week. The fire extended over an area of forty miles, aud unless rain falls the flames will sweep the couutry north to the Lachlan river. Tbe Murell Creek statiou lost all i.3 grass and buildings with the exception of the homestead, and one selector loab 1,500 sheep at Coree station. Ou Jerilderie station, abou.t, sixty milea south from Narranderai; over TO,OOO- acres have been laid waste by fire.
