SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
Wellington, September 8. Arrived—Wakatu, from Kaikoura and Lyttelton ; Tainui, from London, via the South ; Rotorua, from Nelson ; Omapere, from Westport. Sailed—Wakatu, for Kaikoura and Lyttelton ; Grafton, for West Coast. The Rotorua sails for Lyttelton at eleven to-night, taking the San Francisco mail and the following passengers—Messrs Trenchard and Brough, Mesdames Mountfort and Cloggie, Hon. Dr. Pollen, Messrs Mountfort, McKeuzie, Lewisou, Howieson, Pike, Pratt, Tate, Gillespie, Thompson, Sampson, George and five steerage. Auckland, September 8. Arrived —This afternoon, Mariposa, from Sydney. She left Sydney at 5 p.m. on the 4th inst. Passengers—For Auckland—Miss Bosworth, Messrs Bray, Bray, Walker, Ham, Curry, Brown, and sixteen in the steerage. For San- Francisco—Twenty-two saloon and forty-four in the steerage.
