Bztsa ABtoeUUan—Klectrie Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 8. Kent were all out in the first innings for 127 runs. The attendance at Canterbury on the second day's match was very large. The weather- was splendid; and an excellent wicket was provided. • In addition to those mentioned, Rashleigh and Patterson each scored 19 in Kent's innings, and Marchant 21. Trott took three wickets for 28 and Trumble three for 30. Kent followed on, and at the second attempt did better, the total being 198—A. Hearne 39, Mason 18, Rashleigh 26, Le Fleming 12, Patterson 51, Marchant 39. Turner took six wickets for 27. The Australians have lost one wicket for 3 in their second innings. SYDNEY, Augusts The Secretary -of the Auckland Cricket Association is endeavouring to arrange for a visit of the Australian Cricket Team to New Zealand.
