THE DRINK QUESTION.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE PRESS. Sir, —There is an old proverb which says, " Let the cobbler stick to his last." It would be as well if the reverend gentlemen in Christchurch would remember that proverb. We might then get more religion and less twaddle. How can.a Jewish Rabbi know anything about wine or a Methodist parson teach us Hebrew. Both, I daresay, are enthusiastic gentlemen, but surely their time could be better spent in ministering to their congregations than in meddling with questions which might be left to politicians, lam.&c, A.D.F.
