Pren Aeocietioa—Etoctrlo Telegnpn—Conyrisfcti London, July 24. Mr Licht, sugar expert, estimates that the ten months' beet production will yield an increase of 8000 tons. The campaign is expected to be 90,000 tons below last season's yield. It is estimated that the English hop crop will be one-third below last year's yield. July 25. The firat ship load of Bulgarian frozen meat has been despatched to London. The local agent of Messrs Henry S. Fitter and Sons, yesterday received the following cable message, dated London. 24th inst. :— Canterbury mutton 3£d to 4d, Canterbury lamb 4d to s|d. Wellington mutton 3d to 3£d, Wellington lamb 4d to 4£d. New Zealand beef, hindquarters 4fd to s£d, forequarters 3£d to 3£d. Australian sheep 2|d to 3d. Australian beef, hinds 4£d to 4fd, fores 3d to 3jd.
