PRODUCE, &c.

: This New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association of Canterbury, Limited,

report for the week ending Friday, July 14th, as follows:—

The improvement in the weather will be gladly welcomed by farmers, but the recent soaking will be beneficial to many districts. Business in grain and produce during the week has naturally been affected to some extent by the financial complication which has occurred, but generally a healthy tone prevails. The wheat market, in the absence of freight, continues sluggish, and millers fiud no difficulty in filling their wants at quotations. Oats remain firm, though outlets at present prices are restricted. There are unfilled enquiries for malting barley, but stocks in growers' hands are very light. Beans and peas are quiet. The -demand for ryegrass and cocksfoot is steadily depleting stocks, and prices of both tend upwards. .
