AUCKLAND NOTES.
July 14. Sir George Grey is still in a very frail state of health, and it ia not very probable that he will be able to attend the present session of Parliament at Wellington at all. Te-day he was in bed at his nephew's residence in Parnell, suffering fram bronchital catarrh and general weakness. In his present state of health, his medical adviser has strongly urged him "not to go to Wellington at all this year. Tho Hinemoa arrived this morning from Wellington on her way to Whangarei. Captain Fan-child states that he landed at White Island and found the lake bed filled with water for the first time since the Tarawera eruption. Immense slips of debris have occurred round the edges of the lake, proving that volcanic disturbances have been going on. ......
