OPERATIONS AGAINST BANGKOK.
Pwm AwodtHon--Etoctrfo T*l«er«»li—Copyncht. Paris, June 26. The French have occupied additional islands in the gulf of Siam. The French squadron is preparing to blockade Bangkok, the capital of Siam. Later. The French Commander reports the islands in the gulf of Siam which have been occupied are of strategic import* anoe, as they afford good anchorage and storage. The French failed to occupy she left bank of the Mekong. It is expected that gunboats will ascend the Menam, on which the capital is situated, and that the coast will be blockaded. The Europeans in Bangkok are getting excited.
