THE BOEDER DUTY QUESTION. Brisbane, May 15.
The Premier has received advice from the Premier of New Slouch Walea intimating that if the movement for the abolition of the border duties between Victoria and New South Wales assumes a definite shape, Queensland will bo placed on the same basis as other colonies.
QUEENSLAND PARLIAMENT.
The Cabinet decided to summon Parliament fpr the despatch of business on the 30th inst., when sanction for the issue o! Treasury Bills will be asked.
THE ACCIDENT ON BOARD THE LIZARD.
Melbourne, May 15.
Richard Dawaon, stoker of H.M.S. Lizard, has died from the injuries he received.
