Ou Sunday morning Captain Alexander, finding he was windbound, came back into the stream, where he anchored to await a more favourable day for failing. The s.s. Herald arrived from Timaru yesterday about noon

The s.s. Taviuni, which arrive! from Wellington on Saturday, sails to-day for Fiji via and Auckland. Filiis' Circus troupr? will go by h«r to Wellington. The 3.3.
