JUNIOR FLAG MATCHES.
In the match Linwood v Christchurch Linwood won by 27 points (two goals from tries, one penalty goal, and seven tries) to 2 points (one try). Christchurch played well, but the superior combination of Linwood won them the match. For the winners Glennie, Cuff, and Cox backs, and Bailey, • Pegg, McWilliara, Ward, and T. OUrien forwards, were tho best. For the losers Ford, Matron, Crawshaw, Lightband, and Gardner played the best. a. In the game Kaiapoi Second v Pirates First Kaiapoi scored 19 points to theii opponents' 4. The tries for Kaiapoi Were obtained by Templeton, McGregor, Feather* sfcon, J - Moir ana Robilliard and Templeton kicked two and McGregor one goal. The Pirates scored a goal from a mark.
