London, May 12. A cargo of New Zealand wheat has been sold at 27s 9d.
Two thousand carcases of frozen meat, a portion of the cargo of the s.s. Hawke's Bay, which left Wellington on March 13 th, have been condemned. The bad state of the meat was oaused through water getting into the hold of the vessel. May 13. Silver, 3s 2|d per oz. Colonial 4 per cent. Btock has fallen I£, aod 31 per cents have fallen £. Sydney, May 13. The wheat crop for the past season was the largest ever garnered in the colony. As compared with lasjr year, the land under crop showed an increase oi 96,200 acres.
