PAYMENT OF MEMBERS.
TO THB SOTTOB OF THB PRESS. Stß,—What is the position of this question at Inangahua? Has Mr Reeves drawn for January, February, March and April? If so, his successor, being elected, say, in May, and Parliament being dissolved in November, will be paid six months' honorarium tor Parliamentary duties for which Mr Reeves would have drawn ten mouths' screw. A spirit of true economy should lead the Government to delay the election until after next pay-day.—Yours, &c, ' . Os'T-S Na_l
