The above market was somewhat) interfered with yesterday by the races at Ashburton. About 1500 sheep wero yarded, and the principal Bales wero—s3 merino wethers at 6a 9(1, 20 do at 6s 6d, 277 do at 3s 9d, 42 small livmbs at 6s. The pricet realised were quite up to values ; 13s wai offered for a line of crosebreds, which were not sold. A number of sheep were quitted privately later on.
