At the Northern Central Yards, Mr W.. Buss (associated with the New Zealand , Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, ' Limited, had an entry of 5000 sheep, 70 head of cattle and 40 pigs. The prices obtained were—For fat crossbred sheep, 15a 6d to 16s; merino ewes, 5s to 5s 6d; crossbred twotooths, 12s 6d to 13s 6.1. Cattle — Beef equal to 21s per 1001b; milch cows, £610s; steers, £4 to £4 5s ; heifers, £3 4s to £4 10s ; eighteen months old cattle, £3 to £3 sa; yearlings, -81 5s to £1 15s. Bacon pigs, 40s to 435; store pigs, 10s to 12s; weaners, 6s to Bs. In the Produce Yards, Mr W.
