NORTH CANTERBURY SALEYARDS.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. . Sir, —I am a shareholder in the above Company, and I find the Directors are going to expend some of the funds in erecting a building for the sale of liquor. Now as I do not see any reason to increase the opportunity ' for obtaining liquor, as there are four good hotels here, and one of them not 150 yards away, and as my money was obtained for erecting saleyards, I protest against 4 my money being diverted from its proper use.—Yours, &c,
Shareholder.
