Friday, May £. (Before Captain Willie, Dr. Gosset, and Messrs .W. Holley and J- Rennie, J.P.'s.) Civil Cases.—Judgment was given for plaintiffs by default in Selwyn County Council v K. A. Kennedy, claiu £7 11b 7d ; KarslakeV E. White, claim £1 10s ; and T. Durant and Son vT. McMillen, 13s 6d. In T. Durant arid Son v H. Kissell, claim £2 7a Bd, after taking evidence, judgment was given for plaintiffs for £1 15s Id ; and in W. Holley v Jno. Fay, claim £3 6s 8d (Mr Striugwr for defendant), the Bench gave judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed with costs.
