OXFORD.
The annual meeting of the parishioners of this district was held on the evening of Thursday last, the Rev. R. F. Garbett presiding. The accounts were read by Mr Sharpe, Parishioners' Warden. The Curate nominated Mr Hawker as Bishop's Warden, and Dr. Volckman was nominated Parishioners' Warden, in succession to Mr Sharpe, whose retirement was accepted with regret. The following gentlemen were nominated church officers for the ensuing yea- : —St. Andrew's Church —Dr. Weld and Messrs H. Flitch, J. Lough, P. Fisher, H. Mevers, C. Dora, F. Corayns and W. Woodward ; St. Mary's Chapel-of-ease, West Oxford—Mr G. Dean and Mr J. Harbidge; Carlton —Messrs Dohmanaud Englebrecht; View Hill—Messrs bmith, Maber, and G. Mounsey. Hearty thanks were accorded to the church officers aud other workers during the past year, special compliments being paid Mr Sharpe for his invaluable services as Parishioners' Warden and Treasurer.
