At a meeting of the Directors of the Plnmpton Park-Racing and Coursing Company, held on Thursday, it was decided to eliminate the Hurdle Race from the programme of the Club's- meeting on April 14th, it being the opinion of those present that seven races were' sufficient for the one day. Delegates were appointed to proceed to Dunedia to attend the Conference of Coursing Clubs, to be held there during the Dunedin Cup week. It was decided to open the Club's coursing season with a meeting on April 11th, 12th, and 13th. It was decided that all greyhound racing in. Canterbury must be registered with the Secretary of the P.P.C.O, Fees for litters under three months to be 2s 6d, and half-a-crowa a-head for all dogs over three, months. Dudu was .shipped tb Wariganui yesterday afternoon to fulfil her engagements at the Wanganui Jockey, Club's Autumn Meeting. Owners are reminded*'tbat to-day is general entry day for the Dunedin Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting, and acceptances are also due then for the Hurdles, Champagne, Stewards' Purse, and Marshall Memorial Stakes. ■ ■
Nominations also close to-night for the Metropolitan Handicap, Hurdles and Juvenile Stakes, to be run at the Greymonth Jockey Clab'a Autumn Meeting.
