DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
(PKBB9 ASSOCIATION TELBGKAM.) / DUNEDIN, January 13. The annual report of the Dunedin Jockey Ciub shows that the. meetings have been satisfactory, but states that the amount parsed through the totalisator at the Spring Meeting fell off, as compared with the same meeting last year, by the sum of £5513, and the loss of commission on this amount, coupled with the Government; tax, left no margin. The sum of £1500 had been paid to deposit account prior to the Spring Meeting, but if the Governnient tax is continued the Committee think there will be no prospect of increasing that fund in future.
