SUoeiTvd December 11th. 9.40 p.m. London, December 10, The total amount of reserve ia the Bank of England is £15,168,000. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 43*34 per cent. Consols 95^. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock 10l£; 3£ per cent, inscribed ttock 91i. Three months' bills 2£ per cent. New Zealand long-berried wheat, 45s 6d. The market is quiet. For ofl coaet cargoes sellers ask 44s 61, but buyers are only willing to give 43 I *. Canterbury mutton, 3Jd. Beef, fore-quarters, 2§U. New Zealaud hemp is quiet, and prices are unchanged. Colonial barley, 31s 6d. Oats, fine, 30a 6d, Adelaide wheat, 46s 3d. Tbe market is flat. Victorian, 45s 9d, weaker Wool remains firm, and prices show no change. Sugar—German beet, 14s Qi; Java, 16s 6d. Both quiet. No. 1 beet Scotch pig iron, Lo.b. ir Clyde, 47b 4£d. The Canterbury Frozen Meaft and Dairy Produce Export Company, Ltd., have received a cable advice from London quoting North Canterbury mutton at 4 l-16d per lb, market ■teady. ,
