There was a full atteud&uce of buyers, competition being spirited. There was only slight enquiry for crosabreds, buyers being in favor of merino, part of which was disposed of at 5 per cent, below the prjcea ruling at the September series, and pare at the same figure. Received November 25th. 830 p.m. London, November 24. The discount rate on three mouths , bills has advanced £ per cent. Received November 26th. 12.J5 a.m. Londok, November 25. A cargo of wheat, ex ship Lake Superior, from Lyttelton, sold at 42s 3d. « At the wool Bales there is a large attendance. Buyers complain of slow unprofitable trade. 191,000 bales were catalogued, including 21,000 froni the Cape. The market is irregular, and not spirited. Good merinos brought from 2 j to 5 per cent., inferior from 5 to 7 \ per cent., crossbrecU from par to 5 per cent, lower than last sales. Kaoeived November 25th. 11.35 a.m. Sydney;, November 25. Competition by both home and foreign buyers is fairly active, The total quantity available, including wool held orer from last series, is 210,000 bales, 18,000 balea of which have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts direct, ? : Wheat—The market is J&gbtly steadier. The Russian ukase does uofc affect prieee. C.i.f. quotations have advanced 3d per 4801b sinoe last report. New Zealand wheat, loug berried and average are worth respectively 47a and 44s 3d per
