DOINGS IN PARLIAMENT.
The House of Representatives devoted faelf yesterday to the discussion of the Female Franchise Bill, of which Sir John |£ftU moved the second reading. The principal speech, in point of length, waa jjjftt of Mr Fish, who devoted three hours : to denouncing the measure. The second reading was eventually carried by 33 to 8, sndMr Ballanee moved that the Bill be on Wednesday, stating that he then take charge of it as a Govern* jject mearure. Mr Fieh said he was so at the policy of the Government 9Ver this Bill that he should have nothing bom to do with the party, and should Cross to the other side of the House. The goose rose at 1.30 a.m.
