N.S.W. PARLIAMENT. Sydnbt, May 22. In the House of Assembly last night Mr G. H. Raid's amendment traferaing several clauses in the Federal Constitution was negatived by 61 id 35, and the Address m Reply was then adopted without further opposition.

At Eveleigh last night a collision occurred between a locoi-iotive and'a goods train. The locomotive was running on the intersecting track, and struck the goods train at right angles. Both engihes were badly Bedashed* Be .tram, the driver of the goods train, was killed, his abdomen being ripped opened, and the other occupants of the engine received ia severe shaking,
