[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] WELLINGTON, May 21. The following are the vital statistics foi April, 1891:—
The total births In tbe above boroughs amounted to 433, against 865 in March, an increase of 68. The deaths in April were 179, an increase of 31 on tbe number in March. Of tbe total deaths males contributed 107, and female- 72; 76 of the deaths were of children uuder five years of age, being 42.46 per cent of the whole number, and 69 of these were under one year °' ° iBB * ■ -
