ARRIVAL OF THE 'FRISCO MAIL
(PBKS9 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, May SO. The R.M. Monowai arrived from San Franoiseo at 6.43 p.m. Passengers—For Auckland—Mr and Mrs Hereschoff, Bartlett, C. Cameron, and nine steerage. Amongst the passengers in transit for Sydney are Madruno Sara Bernhardt, the celebrated actress, and her dramatic company of about forty member* ; the Hon. J. B. PaSUrwn ol Victoria, and Major Dane, tho well-known lecturer. The Monowai left San Francisco on May Ist, one day late, and reached Honolulu on the Bth at 11 a.m. She left again the same day at 5.30 p.m., and slowed down off Tutuilla at 6.45 p.m. on tho 15th. Site left again at 6.30 p.m. Tho time for the run from San Francisco, including detention, was 17 days 4 hours 11 nunutos.
