The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,808,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,928,000 quarters. The Euglish wheat market has a downward tendency, and Continental a little worse. American is strong. Forward business in Australasian shipments is weak, at a decline. Arrivals of foreign shipments are moderate. There are uo Australasian cargoes off coast or in ports of call. Union Steamship Company's shares are quoted at £12.
