Lisbon, May 13,
Stocks have collapsed. The London and Paris Banks are refusing to cash notes issued by the Portuguese Banks. A revolution is looked upon as the probable outcome of the crisis, though it is doubtful whether the revolutionists would succeed in bringing about a better state of things. Received May 15th, 12.30 _.__. Lisbon, May 14.
The financial situation is improving, and the Government has authorised the issue of bank notes of 1000 aud 500 reis.
