THE WEATHER AND THE CROPS.

Showers have favored the vegetation of the northern district during the last two days. In the Gerald Ine district; the weather at present Is showery and uncertain, light rain falling during the most of Friday and Friday night. The rain is not particularly welcome just now, as; it is keeping back harvest operations. Grass and turnips are both coming on splendidly. In some cases .the turnips have been sown four times and after all the owners will have a good crop.
