BARQUE MIKADO IN DISTRESS
Messrs Miles and Co. have received a cable stating that the barque Mikado, from New York to Dunedin and Lytteltbn, had put into Paranagua in'distress, having jettisoned part of her cargo, and that she was unlikely to proceed. They also inform us that the manifest of the vessel showe that a Urge portion of her cargo is for Lyttelton.
