New Zealand loug-berried wheat 38a 6d, market firm. For cargoes on passage sellers ask 375, but buyers are only willing to give 36s 6d; tor cargoes off coast? sellers wane 37s 6d, but buyei's offer 6d less. New Zealand patent flour, ex store, 24s 6d. Colonial barley averages 345, and oats, fine quality, 24s 6d; beans,- 325. Frozen lamb (Canterbury), 5%d. New Zealand frozen, beef-rfore-quarters, 3 13-16ch of a penny; hindquarters, 4 9-16 th of a penny. New Zealand hemp (Auckland), average quality, £25; the market is firmer. Wellington, good average, £24 15s. Best manilla, £40, Adelaide wheat, 395; steady. , Sugar, German 13a, firmer; Java Iss, nominal, ; No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, £.o.b. in Clyde, 46s 9d. ; Received Fobruary S£h. 6 p.m. London, February 7.- \ The wool sales continue firm, and biddiug is spirited. Foreign, buyers have taken two-thirds of the number bales sold. . '' ' Freights by steam cargo boats to New Zealand average 7s 6d per ton above those by sailing vessels, and the rate -is meeting with a good deal of objection at the hands of shippers. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message, dated London, 6th February. Tallow is dull of sale. Quotations unchanged since last telegram. Frozen Meat. — Mutton market steady, Price of mutton has advanced |th of a penny per lb sinoe last report. Beef market unchanged. New Zealand Hemp.—There is more enquiry. Medium is worth £24 per ton.
