MODERN SCIENCE PERFORMS A MIRACULOUS CURE.

Tha _k*n_on Maaasine of Chsmistrtf and Medicine in a leader says:—"Some most remarkable facts have recently come to our notice in reference to the efficacy of St. Jacobs oil. After the most exhaustive tests, eminent professional men in Gseafe Britain have declared that it is the only absolute cure for rheumatism and kindred diseases, Edward Evans, formerly in the employ of Messrs Davey and Moore, the well-known atlass bottle manufacturers, was for twelve years a fearful jufferer from rheumatism, and had to leave work. His limbs were swollen to double their size, and he was perfectly helpless. The most eminent medical men treated him, but without avail. He entered hospitals and infirmaries, but, after treatment, was pronounced incurable, being absolutely crippled. Ac last he applied St. Jacobs oil. In the course of a week he could walk, and obtained for the first time in twelve years a good night's rest. At tbe end of two weeks he regained the use of his limbs, and has resumed work—a cured man.
