LINCOLN.
The monthly meeting of the Lincoln School Committee was held on Monday evening, February 2nd. Present—Messrs J. Doherty (Chairman), Bartram, W. Jennings, Murray,. McPnerson andMcNae. Correspondence was received from the Board of Education, intimating that Miss Taylor had passed the fouxth year pupil teachers' examination, and was required to attend the Normal school, i'he Inspector's report was also received. A resolution wa. passed ** That Che Inspector's report of the scnool, ou the whole, is considered . satisfactory, and that the Committee express every confidence in the teaching staff." Miss Ethel Murray was appointed pupil teacher in the place of Miss lay lor, subject to the approval of tbe _ioard. amounting to £1 14s 9d were passed for payment.
