WAIMAKARIRI HARBOR. BOARD.

The monthly meeting: of the Wainaakarlri Harbor Board was field Iα the Kaiapoi Municipal Chamber ou Monday evening. Present—Messrs W. Fraser (ehairmaa pro tern.), Smethurst. ID was decided, on motion of Mr Horrell, that the Kaiapoi Council be asked to recommend Mr Mathews for appointment to the Board. On motion of Mr istnethurst, it was : decided the Mandeville and Ranciora Road Board be asked to recommend a member for appointment by the Governor.
