ALLEGED SUICIDE OF A FARMER.

[PBKSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] INVESCAEGILL, Febmary 2. Edward Sntton, of Dnuamond, one of the family of a well-known farmer in the district, was found dead this morning in, circumstances indicating that he had committed suicide. Sutton, who was a single man, had been from home all d&y Sunday, returning about 10 p.m., and about an, hour afterwards a man heard the Bound of a gunshot; from the direction of Button's house. This morning, as he did not appear, the door was forced, and Sutton was found dead in a pool of blood, with, at discharged gun close to hia hand.
