LODGE MEETINGS.
The fortnightly meeting of the Bidgley Lodge, L0.0.F..A.C, was held in the Orange Hall, Worcester street, on Wednesday evening, Bro. J. White, N.G., preelding. There was a large attendance of members and visiting brethren. One candidate was initiated. A vote of thanks was accorded to the visiting brethren, and Bros. Townsend, D.D.GM., and Donaldson (Washington Lodge) replied. It wa_ unanimously decided to hold a social gathering at an early date. A summoned meeting of the Anchor Lodge, was held in tbe Oddfellows* Hall, Woolston, on Wednesday, A.D. Bro. Jas. Papps in the chair. Bro. Hancock, P. A., and Bro. Hobaon. P.W., brought up the report of the Finance Committee. After a lengthy discussion the report and recommendations of the Committee were adopted. It was decided to move the Lodge to the Bible Christian Church, Woolston. The Secretary waa instructed to write and request the Lyttelton Hearts of Oak Lodge to nominate a Brother for the office orD.P.. in place of Bro. Maddon, deceased. A reply was received from the Oak of Sydenham Juveniles, naming May sth as a convenient date to receive a visit. The Lodge adjourned for harmony, when several Brothers contributed songs. The Loda-e having resumed, business waa closed in the usual form by the A.D.
