LPEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received April 16th. noon. London, April 15. The amount of the Victorian, loan is regarded as excessive. It U stated that the opinion of London advisers was ignored, and that a lower minimum would have been preferable with less rebates. It is feared the loan will be barely covered at an average of 101, unless tbe market improves. Received April 16th, 8.30 p.m. London, April 15. , It is reported that French banks invested their reserves to a large extent in the recent Queensland loan, and it is believed that they intend to apply for a portion of the Victorian loan.
