[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Received April llth, 1.15 p.m. London, April 12. A cargo of Australian wheat has been sold at 3_s 9d.
Three months'bills are quoted at 2 percent,;
Tallow {medi ma} mutton 24s 3d j beef ditto, 235. Up to date 26,000 bales of wool have been catalogued at the wool sales.. The number of bales sold is 24,000.
The English wheat market is firmer, Continental steady, and American advancing. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is quoted at 38s 6d, and Victorian ditto at 38s nominal; new long-berried wheat, ex store, 37s 6d, business in this line being reported as steady. No. 1 best.Scotch pig iron, f.o.b. in Clyde, 46s 6d, steady.
Sugar-—German beet, 12s; market fiat. Java, 14s 9d.
The New Zealand Farmers' Cooperative Association are in receipt of the following cable from their London office, dated April 12th:— Mutton is Belling _. at 4fd. The market is affected by large supplies.
Wool—The market is a shade easier
