[panes association thlhorak.l AUCKLAND, April 6. Cissy and Quadrant have been scratched for the St. Leger, leaving only Tirailleur in for the stakes.' At the Racecourse on Saturday Cynical and Hilda galloped a mile and a quarter together, both going well. Cissy, who seems considerably improved, went a good gallop with Leolantes. Tirailleur and Aronoel were associated together in a smart run, Captain Russell's filly moving very freely. Quadrant afterwards joined Tirailleur, and made good time. Darnley and the Colonel did good work on the grass track. Miss Cole had the best of a gallop between herself, Fiesole, and Tamora. Recruit was out and looks well.
Volcano has been scratched for all engagements at the meeting.
